Sound Check is a Twin Ports-based entertainment group that concentrates only on helping our clients plan and execute 100% perfect wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties and everything in between. When I started the company, I already had more than a decade of experience in the music business. Performing, mixing, mastering, producing, consulting, and playing instruments, music has always been a core to what I do. I wanted to expand my vision in 2021, and play live music for people in those exciting receptions, highlight parties, and unforgettable moments in our lives.
While I enjoyed the variety of events I booked, it soon became clear that I was being referred by the area's leading venues, top wedding vendors, and most importantly - by my past clients, friends, family, and business partners for my ability to pack a dance floor from start to finish.

I am known for my music as well as being a show promoter. Over 20 years in the scene in Duluth, I have helped many of today’s artists in town get their foot in the door as well as mentor some of the up comers.

I got started in Hip-Hop back in 2000, just rapping with friends in high school, trading off rhymes in between classes. We eventually formed a group (3 of us) called Kritical Kontact. In 2002, we won a competition called “Got Skillz” and went on to put out 3 albums by 2008 with DJ Delgado.

I host an online radio show on Zenith City Radio with a show called “Worldwide Thursday Night Throwdown” which showcases throwback music from the golden age of hip hop to current underground to regional (local) to hip hop from all around the world such as Canada, Sweden, and Australia.
